Between now and Tuesday January 22, you should read the course descriptions, look at the schedule and write out a schedule of the classes you’d like to take. Students in grades 6, 7 and 8 need to make sure they have at least one class in each of the core subject areas. (Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, and Science). They should take classes in hours 2 through 8. (Some students may come in early and take a 1st hour class.) High school students will have a credit check done by their advisors to ensure they are taking appropriate classes.

On Tuesday all students will meet with their advisors prior to registering for classes. At this time advisors will make sure students are signing up for the correct classes. Parents should review their child’s schedule beforehand and are welcome to discuss any questions with their advisor. If parents have questions or concerns, please try to meet with advisors prior to Tuesday. The time intervals advisors have to meet with students are a very busy time.

Note: When Students sign up for classes on Tuesday, those taking Band, Orchestra, Spanish (I, II, and III), Tae-Kwon Do, or Study Hall will sign up for those classes with a staff member that will be announced at the beginning of the registration time. Look for the signs for those classes on the wall.

For further information, please contact Siri Khalsa at Polaris K-12 - 742-8700.
