Key School Policies
Margaret or Germaine can be contacted for questions or to report an absence in the school office 7:30 am to 4 pm at 742-8700.
- The Polaris calendar follows ASD holidays and in-services with additional information about half-day Wednesdays, intensives, quarters & graduations.
- Elementary classes are 8:15 am to 3 pm with every other Wednesday being a half day when students must be picked up by 12:20 pm. Secondary classes are 8:30 am to 3 pm, with a few starting at 7:30 am.
- Nurse Patty requests that sick students stay home and that emergency contact cards are accurate in case of illness or injury developing during school hours.
- Hot lunch (middle school portion) and milk may be purchased with the ASD food service program. An ala carte menu is also available for secondary. Sack lunches are always welcome. See Ivan with questions.
- Student belongings may be kept in classroom cubbies (K-6) and unlocked hall lockers (7-12). Sharp objects and electronic games do not belong at school.
- The Lost & Found is located past the Gym in the student lounge area.
- Parents are welcome at all times and need to sign in at the office.
- The playground is supervised during lunch recess only.
- Open campus policy is for 9-12 graders unless parental permission declined.
