Location & Transportation
Polaris K12 is located on 6200 Ashwood Street in Anchorage, Alaska. Ashwood Street is southeast of Dowling Road & the Seward Highway. When driving north on the Brayton frontage road, turn right on E 64th Ave for one short block and then take the first left on Ashwood. From all other directions, go westbound on E 64th Ave (parallel to and south of Dowling) and take the last right before the Seward Hwy frontage.
All transportation to and from school is a parental responsibility. Please drive slowly and cautiously on Ashwood and in the parking lot. Allow extra time for drop off and pick up. Do not park or idle your vehicle at the curb.
Here are some additional facts to be aware of:
- You are encouraged to park in the lot and walk in with young children.
- Tammie helps with safety and security.
- Most fieldtrip transportation is by private vehicle driven by parents.
- The DART municipal bus comes by on East 64th Ave.
- School buses service King Career Center and Ignite programs.
- AGA, YMCA, and the Boys & Girls Club pick up for after school care.
