Volunteer Job Descriptions

**Polaris K-12 School Volunteer Information**

Below is a brief description of the volunteer tasks available . Please use this information as a guideline in making your decision on how you will contribute your time & talents in the 2006/07 school year. Your help is needed for a successful school.

**Parent Forum Secretary**: A parent is needed to take minutes at the six meetings this year and help with running the non-profit corporation with other Parent Forum officers. Time commitment approximately 10 hours per month.

**Parent Forum Meeting Attendees**: Parents are needed to attend meetings and to set the budget, policies, and guidelines. Meetings are scheduled for Tuesdays at 6:30 pm on September 26, October 24, November 28, January 30, February 27, and April 10. Meetings last between 1 and 2 hours.
