So if you were receiving email updates from the Polaris K-12 website … you now aren’t. As mentioned in the last post, I’ve moved us over to Google’s excellent FeedBurner service. On the plus side, this is a much more robust system for delivering email notifications. On the downside, there was no easy way to migrate the over 700(!) subscribers to the new system. This means that everybody who is interested in receiving these notifications is going to need to sign up again.
Fortunately this is easy.
In order to sign up all you need to do is fill in your email address in the appropriate box in the right hand sidebar in the Notifications section. You’ll need to do that annoying thing were you have to type in a word you see in an image to prove you’re not a spambot. At that point Google will send a link to your email address. Just click on that link and you’ll start receiving one message each day with a summary of all information on the website from the day before.
I do apologise for the inconvenience, but I think this is a much better system and in the end we’ll be better off for having a more reliable system. If you have questions, please feel free to ask them by posting a comment and I’ll do my best to answer them.
