Our Library needs your help in the Month of November.  We will host our biannual book fair during parent/teacher conferences, November 7th  & 8th.  The book fair will be set up on Thursday afternoon on November 1st.  Those of you who signed up to help during registration will be contacted in the next week.  It is possible that we missed you during the sign up, so if you are interested please contact Audrey in the library or call 742-8711 or 8706, or e-mail at charvat-drew_audrey@asdk12.org  Everyone will only be asked to work a 2 hour shift, so the commitment is easy and enjoyable.  Proceeds will be put toward new materials and supplies for our Library.  Please help us make this event successful for our Polaris community.

Fall Auction

Jeff Block | Miscellaneous | Friday, October 19th, 2007

BASKETS

Family groups and advisories have been gathering items for their theme baskets. You can still contribute to these baskets by bringing in your themed items. TUESDAY October 24th will be the last day that items can be accepted.

AUCTION DONATIONS

Donations are still being accepted for the Auction that will take place on Friday October 26. Don’t have any goodies that you can donate? Consider donating a service - piano lessons, a dessert a month for 6 months, child care services, lawn mowing, snow shoveling, housecleaning etc. Remember that proceeds fund many worthwhile school items and services such as the rock wall, theatre lighting, scholarships etc.

POLARIS NOW

The auction is fun way to help contribute to Parent Forum funded projects. However if you are unable to attend, get outbid on an item or simply do not find anything that you want you can still contribute directly via POLARIS NOW. Tax deductible contributions are being accepted NOW.

For more information please contact Jeff Block 229-6979 or jevblock@alaska.net
