  • Yearbook prices go up Friday!
  • Senior meeting 11:20 am in the Library Fri Dec 1 with UAA and UAA Honors program speakers, Nat’l Student Exchange Program, college applications, and federal student aid info. Parents are welcome to attend.
  • Parents of Adolescents meet 2-3 pm Fri Dec 1 in Allie’s room.
  • Bill’s Advisory presents a Talent Show of our own singers, dancers, musicians, gymnasts and marital artists in the MPR 3:30-5 pm Fri Dec 1. Bring a $2-4 canned food or cash donation to benefit Food Bank of Alaska .
  • Title Wave Books donates 25% of all purchases the weekend of Dec 1-3 to Parent Forum! Present the In-Store Book Fair Coupon at check-out.

  • Thank you for supporting Student-led conferences and the Book Fair! Many books were donated directly to the Library and classroom collections, in addition to proceeds of over $1600 for the Library Fund!
  • For books and gifts still on your list, plan to shop at Title Wave Books anytime the weekend of Dec 1-3 using the In-store Book Fair coupon. Again, 25% of all proceeds will benefit the Parent Forum Polaris Library fund!
  • Save the date: Parent Forum meeting Tues November 28 at 6:30 pm.
  • Seniors meet Thurs Nov 16 at 11:20 am in the Library with Michelle to discuss college applications, essays, letters of recommendation, cap & gowns and graduation announcements. Antioch College presentation.
  • HS students considering 2nd semester classes at King Career Center, other high schools, or via www.apexlearning.com need to see Michelle ASAP.

  • Student-led Student-Parent-Teacher Conferences are Wed Nov 8 & Thurs Nov 9. Advisors schedule 7-12 and Family Group sign-ups in lobby. Plan on 100% participation as always as we celebrate our students’ learning!
  • The Library Book Fair is 9 am-5 pm Wed Nov 8 & Thurs Nov 9: Battle of the Books, Alaska, travel (especially Ireland & Great Britain) outdoors, activity, crafts, fiction & non-fiction for all ages. Checks & credit cards accepted — 25% of proceeds go to the Parent Forum Library Fund. You can also donate (tax deductible) a book directly to the Library or a classroom.
